Well i just found out im off to the gulf to kill saddam/find osama on my goat boat which normally wouldnt bother me except that the footy is about to start and so are the play-offs:(

so here are some predictions i should get back in june so hopefully i can catch the Spurs winning the championship for dave

MVP-3 weeks ago i would of said Timmy Duncan but now i will give it to Kevin Garnett who has made me eat my words since i named him in my underacheiver list a few months ago.He has really lifted his game this year and his defence is awesome.

Rookie of the Year-Drew gooden.Yao and stoudamire are fading and i think Goodens trade will really lift him into contention

Defensive Player of the year-Ben Wallace, although i think Timmy D,KG and Ron Artest are better defenders,Wallace will win it .

Eastern Conference Champions-............Pacers over the nets and hornets although if the bucks hit form they could be a tricky opponent. With Baron coming back and mash in form the hornets will be hard too.

Western Conference Champions-God it hurts me to say this....the lakers,i just cant see anyone beating them in a 7 game series.I have this nagging thought in my head that shaq and kobe will hit their straps and win one more,i hope im wrong and the spurs win it but i dont think Dallas can do it and Sac-town keep getting injured

NBA Champs-Lakers:(

oh well hopefully im wrong on some of them

go SPURS,i will miss you Admiral you are a legend

Sounds glorious doesn't it:D

We've had Back-to-Back and Three-peat, they are currently aiming to complete the Quad-Row, but if they succeed, what can they call their fifth successive title charge?? Quin-Row??

I will predict my top 8 in each Conference.

EAST

1. New Jersey
2. Detroit
3. Boston
4. New Orleans
5. Philadelphia
6. Indiana
7. Orlando
8. Milwaukee

WEST

1. Dallas
2. Sacremento
3. San Antonio
4. L.A. Lakers
5. Minnesota
6. Portland
7. Seattle
8. Phoenix

Watch out for a fast finishing Lakers outfit.
Watch out for the Hornets to become a force when Baron returns.
Watch out for the Pacers to fall in a slump.
Watch out for a fast finish for the Sonics, too.
Watch out for the race between Kobe and T-Mac (most points).

No offence XBox but IMO you seem to be a little off here. Let's start in the East. The Hornets do look fantastic at the moment and that's without Baron Davis so you would think that when he returns they would get even better. But he may throw off team chemistry and take the ball away from Mash who is on fire this season and a certainty for ALL NBA 2nd team honours.

IMO they will go along as they have been with Davis' return or not and finish around 5th or 6th. The Pacers will not fall that far! They simply are too talented and too deep. They wont win the East though but they wont fall all the way to 6th. Where's the Wizards, ok so it will be tough but they have a shot at beating Milwaukee to a playoff spot! Go MJ!

In the West your top 3 are perfect but the Lakers in 4th just will not happen. They have the toughest schedule on the way home out of all the playoff contenders. I see them perhaps getting by the Jazz for 6th but they wont bridge the gap to the T-Wolves and Trailblazers. The Jazz are also unlikely to fall completely out of the playoff picture. The Sonics despite playing really well of late will have a tough time getting by Houston and Golden State not to mention Utah and Phoenix for a playoff spot.

Just my opinion though...
