Last couple albums felt like Alex making the best of things. Drop off in quality is with the other 3 for my tastes. Really struggled with The Car.
I like The Car because I interpret half the songs as the band telling the fans they don't wanna do the debut album style anymore.

That Dancing2 track is shithouse. Even when it (barely) kicks into gear it still feels like it goes nowhere.
Thanks for letting me know so I can skip it.

Hadn't considered that and it's more than a fair position to have on their end. I'm all for them doing something else, just wish it wasn't The Car lol interested to see where a new release goes. Are they working on anything?

A couple of them have said in interviews that they intended to release something more like AM or the debut but when they were trying to write stuff it all just felt like they were a parody of themselves and it didn't feel right.

Not sure - Matt Helders has a project out soon with Tyler Parkford from Mini Mansions, but I don't think there's necessarily anything Arctic Monkeys on the horizon.

With Breach and somewhat Clancy they've really delved into their fanbases wishes. I mean they've built one big enough to sustain targeted music and still get massive praises.
Trench for me is probably their best album, not only for hardcore fans but for just any listeners, it really shows off their abilities to float between different genres with only two people. Clancy too, it's a little bit more hardcore fan styled but still is a great album for anybody to listen to.

If I had to throw a couple of songs out to listen to, I'd say Tally, One Way and City Walls (from Breach), Levitate, Jumpsuit and Legend (From Trench) and Navigating, Overcompensate and Routines in the Night (from Clancy).
Put a couple of grand in my hand and I'll give it a listen.

Yu seem like mai sort of poster!

What sort of small minded individual would take a pure celebration of music like this and turn it into a spurious shitfight?

And sooking over something as insignificant as a nom being rejected!- absolutely disgusting conduct!

I for one intend to treat anyone kind enough to host with the respect and difference they are due.
Sure thing Wonks.

In Through the Out Door is a pretty underrated album, while it’s definitely not up there for the best Zeppelin album I still think it’s got some pretty good songs on it.
