Wii/U Sonic Lost World

Colours is generally regarded as having broken the Sonic cycle.

Never touched Colours admittedly. Looked nice though, but I'll want more than just 78 Meta critic rating from one game to make up for a decade of shit ones.

Looks bloody good. This Sonic/Nintendo partnership is really going to test me. Damn you Wii U

I don't care how good the last one or two may have been. This thread needs *that* picture.

Looks like a good game and one I'd want to get but I don't own a Wii U. And I'm certainly not making the mistake I made with the Original Wii and buy it for a couple of exclusive games and nothing else (Well I did get some games on the Virtual Console so it wasn't a complete waste).

What I've always found amusing is that Sonic runs away from the bad guys. :D

Like in that trailer just then. Those five or six monsters come up preparing to take the little innocent chickens. Sonic lands into the scene all dramatically, cutting them off... and then quite literally runs away, leaving the innocent chickens behind to meet their fate. Are the monsters meant to be following him?

That 3rd level looked fantastic, but holy shit at Windy Hill, enjoy your motion sickness. Had no ****ing idea what was going on or how the guy knew where to go.

Disappointed... Just seems too "cartoony."

I don't play Sonic for stupid 2D/Galaxy rip off shit, I kept buying in the hope that it would be as good as Sonic Adventure 2. Wish they just used the Sonic 2006 levels concept (minus using Silver) without the game itself being an entire glitch. Colours was boring, Generations was okay but had some of the worst bosses in Sonic history. Going to have to wait another 18 months I guess.

Did not realise there was a 3DS version of this game, will be getting the 3DS version as I don't have a Wii U.
