Could it be their year?

I know it is early days but they have started 4-0, something I didn't expect.

It has been a hard slog since 1979 for the average Sonics fan.

Probably not as bad as for the average Footscray or St Kilda supporter though.

They have started well and will be competitive all year with guys like Payton, Lewis, Radmanovic, Mason, Barry but at the end of the day they are just not in the class of the Spurs, Nets, Lakers, Kings, Magic etc...

We haven't got quality in every position, and the bench is a little weak for my liking. 6th, 7th or 8th in the West I think by the end of the season.

Surely they aren't the real team.
They were beaten by a better team today
Let me say this clear .... The East is definitely more competition this year, than what it has been for the last 2. New Jersey and Detroit are the stand out teams, but I'm fairly happy with the Hornets start. Mashburn only played a handful of games last year, and he has started like a rocket on fire. Baron has had a slow start, but as all greats do, they will find their form. PJ Brown has been great 'Rebound King’; the inclusion of Courtney Alexander has really boosted our chances. Everything is all-positive down at New Orleans. 3-0 @ home.

I must agree concerning the Eastern Conference. They wont be as weak as they have been in previous years with Detriot, New Jersey, Orlando, New Orleans all looking strong. Boston and Washington will go alright once they hit there straps also. Still undersized though compared to the West.
