Sorry to be flogging a dead horse over and over again, but disapointed that there is no mention of A Wilhelm Scream. Very unique technical punk rock with searing dual solo melodies (I guess they're technically not solos) and a fantastic bass player who does some amazing bass tapping work, lyrics are awesome too.

Faith no more were bloody Epic, What you would expect from them

Jimmy Eat World-You know those times when you find out that the same band released 4-5 of those boring bland songs you hate? that was me watching them "Oh they do this song, it sucks"

Janes were pretty good, Perry Cant hit those notes anymore so was using some type of voice manipulator

Gallows was good, WCE_all_Da_way said, i looked giant compared to a bunch of 15 year olds waiting for escape the fate, very entertaining however

Meshuggah played what? 5 songs and started about 30 minutes late

Anvil Were funny, imagine a tight rhythem section, and some wailing bitch trying to play guitar, that was Anvil, No wonder they never were big

Picked up a nasty Gastro Bug however, i cant keep water down and the cramping is killing me :/

Janes Addiction stole the show at melbourne.
There were some other good performances but none even come close to JA!

Dave navarro you are a legend!

Ive got to admit, im not a huge JA fan but they were very good. But Faith no more were flawless. Awesome. Eagles of death metal were great. Anvil were pretty good too!

I thought that Faith no more were good, but by no means great.
Eagles of death metal were pretty damn good aswell, I had almost forgot about them

Alright man, list a couple of your fav songs and i'll have a listen. :thumbsu:

Check out:

The King is Dead
The Horse
I Wipe My Ass With Showbiz
Me vs. Morrissey in the Pretentiousness Contest (The Ladder Match)

I'd probably check out one of those (especially the top 2), these are other great tracks:

Jaws 3, People 0
The Kids Can Eat a Bag of Dicks
Anchor End
Famous Friends and Fashion Drunks
Australias
Skid Rock

I live in Melbourne but I went to Perth because the Melbourne one sold out (although they ended up releasing more  ) Had a great day. Missed the start of Eagles of Death Metal cos a friend had to pick up her ticket which took forever, but thought they were great. They really get the crowd going. Placebo were pretty good but left early to see Reel Big Fish cos my mates like them. Not really my sort of thing but they were entertaining. Tried to watch some Anthrax before Jane's Addiction but only saw 1 song because it was delayed cos of sound problems

Jane's Addiction were fantastic. Three Days was close to the highlight of the day, was rapt they played Pigs in Zen and Jane Says was fantastic. Perry Farrell is one of the best front men I've ever seen, so charismatic, I like Jane's Addiction but they completely exceeded my expectations, preferred them to Faith No More. Looked pretty obvious Farrell and Eric Avery don't get on. He spent most of his time on Navarro's side, never mentioned Avery between songs. And apparently Avery has left again too now the tour is over which kind of sucks

Jimmy Eat World were my favourite band of the day. I saw them Thursday at the Palace and they played basically the same songs, but I got a pretty good position and they sounded great. They're good value, their set lists are awesome, very few flat points. Wouldn't have been easy being a last minute add in like they were, but they deserved their night spot. Blister is awesome live :thumbsu:

Faith No More were what I expected, which was very good. Patton's got an amazing voice, Who Care's A Lot, Last Cup of Sorrow and Epic were my highlights. They're very entertaining between songs too, don't take themselves to seriously, and its cool seeing fat old guys in such a cool band :)

Live like a legend and die like an a**hole!

I LOVE AWS. That was my second time seeing them.

Love them.

Haha I loved patton saying 'we're the ONLY band on the bill of this festival with no tattoos'... different era I guess but thats pretty amazing imo.

lol I wonder if Big Jim Martin has tattoos? :p I wouldn't be surprised if he had at least a couple.

Man I wish he had of got the call up. Imagine that!

It's a shame that Mike Patton and Jim Martin cannot get along. :(
I was told many years ago, by someone who's in a band with a member of one of Mikes other projects that he is a ****, plain and simple.
