Nicolas Cage plays an alternative version of Spiderman set in 1930s New York. After a personal tragedy he quits being a superhero to become a private investigator but is caught up in an investigation that requires him to use his superpowers again.

Watched the first couple of episodes. Pretty good. Cage is a natural in the role and there's a good supporting cast. The dialog is slick and the photography excellent. It's available in colour or black and white, with some reviews recommending the b/w version.

I've still only watched the first episode but is this set in the same universe as Spider-verse movies?

And does anyone know where to watch bw vrs for non-streaming.
