Even if I wasn't going with friends I would have just gone on my own. At $120 tickets for A reserve are not cheap. There should still be some good tickets available.

Why? You don't know if they'll ever tour again, so why should you miss what could be your one chance to see them just because you think other people may think you look odd? I go to gigs on my own quite often.

Remember seeing the Enz in '75 when they first arrived from NZ @ a venue in Prahran. Was pretty impressed as they were certainly original.

I thought the Mental Notes album was pretty good at the time but once Phil Judd left they became just another run of the mill mediocre band and Mental Notes remains the sole Split Enz album in my collection.

Jeez, $90-120 a ticket! From memory it would have been about $3 or $4 when i saw them.

Some excellent news for Crowded House fans.Their farewell concert at the Sydney Opera House in 1996 is finally being released on DVD.It's out on Nov 20
