Anyone else watch Sevens Sportswatch and Sportwatch - Final Score on Sunday afternoon? I thought it was a great way to keep an eye on all the different sports, especially since we had no "AFL! - On Nine!" while the Port-Melb and Freo-Saints were on :p

Mind you, note to the Sunday Times; if you're going to put a quarter page ad in your sports section advertising a new show.... please remember to adjust the starting times! Just using an Eastern States ad won't work when the show's on live  ;)

Yeah, it is good to have something like that on the weekend on the free to air channels:)
Don't know if they did this or not,but wish they would show some actual NHL highlights on it too, they showed the scores briefly in the little results section they have on screen at the bottom.

Great Show

Being a Manly Fan my whole life and living on the gold coast it is impossible seeing a game with the northern eagles unless i watch it on fox (which i dont have) channel 7 has put out a marvellous show with great commentators with superb subtitles to accompany them. sitting down and watching sportswatch is now getting to be a habbit i can catch up on all the sports news while keeping up with my team consequently not having to get foxtel

Great Show Channel 7

I had a look at it over the weekend and was surprised at how much I enjoyed the concept and the show itself. The usage of scores and headlines across the screen is a great innovation for this type of program.

And Bruce is the perfect host for this show, he's certainly in his element. Are there any major sports he has a limited knowledge about?

Notably, we were able to see highlights of several AFL matches before they were shown on the commercial "footy" networks.

Don't get too used to the footy highlights, 9 will soon put a stop to that, and Bruce by his own admission does not know too much about one day cricket.
