I hear from a few people close to the club that they r looking at picking Spriggs to play on Kerr this week, with Kerr always out usually against the eagles the swans are worried with the midfield matchups espcially kerr and have emarked Spriggs to have a run with roll on him, we all know Spriggs great athletic abilty but if this happens it would be a huge call but who knows, what do u guys think!

sounds terrible. Spriggs has shown on a few occasions that he lacks the composure to perform at AFL level. Players tend to take a while to adjust to the pace even when coming back from injury, so to pick him for his first senior game in however long seems like lunacy.

Even if he were there as a purely negating player, Kerr is good enough that he is going to get some ball anyway so why not pick someone that can actually do something going the other way?

Hm... i don't know. I'm neutral about it. Spriggs is an awesome player but he lacks abit of consistency. Actually he is pretty consistent in the reserves but throwing him into the senior side after playing a full years worth of games in the reserves is a pretty bad idea. and its the GF we're talking about.

Hope he gets a crack at AFL level sometime soon. Had a solid start to his career down at the Cattery...

Hope things soon start to work out for him. The shelias love him. Hes the fittest (athletic-wise!) in the AFL and i just hope he gets a few shots out there.

But the thought of him playing in the Grand Final this weekend is ludacris! The side has been named and as expected... David Spriggs got his spot on the emrgency list.
