It's nice here in Ballarat. It is around the 30 degree mark. I feel sorry for you Lethal. 37 degrees is too hot.

Lioness22,

I hope that you get better. Those chest infections are really annoying.

30 - somthin' degrees down here in Geelong and I was working today. At least it was cool inside, I suppose.

Bring on the cool change.

you melbournites wouldn't know heat if it bit you on the arse!

If one more northern stater says that to me, I'm gonna shoot them.

We don't have all year round heat, but if you think it doesn't get into the 40s, you're sadly mistaken. It does where I live, anyway. It just won't get there til late January. And I don't want any Queenslanders telling me to try dealing with it in humid conditions...last summer I often compared the humidity of Warrnambool and some Queensland city, and they were very similar. (By the way: If you think our heat isn't comparable, your cold probably isn't comparable to ours, either.) Sorry, that just ****s me. Rant over. :p

The heat is fine, as long as I'm not sitting directly in it. As I was today, at the bloody Dunkeld Races, all day. :( Not that I didn't have fun, exploiting my drunken/netball trip state to get guys' phone numbers/getting them to buy me drinks all day. :D

The only problem with this heat is that, like someone else said, it's been cold and then bang, this. It hasn't even been 23 here, more like 18, 19...and then bang, two 30+ days in a row.

Exactly thats what has got all of us melbournites.

Well I'm a "northerner" but I'm not going to deny there isn't 30+ degrees heat south of the Murray because that's a myth and that's all that there will be. It's just unfortunate people up north have that perception of Victoria being a cold, rainy place, out of pure ignorance or because they've never actually done geography at school :p :D

39, $###!!!! it was hot, Torquay was nice though, just hot enough, water was bloody cold for the first few minutes though!!! Cant wait to get hold of a boogie board in a couple months!!!
