I think Tom Mitchell could be that man, he's not for the future but someone that has a big body and can take some pressure of Nukes. He doesn't need to be a champ but he can get the ball.

I know everyone will so no he is no good blah blah. But then Who?

If we want a big body, we've got one on the list who looks like he he is elite at winning the ball, but lacks for leg speed and experience. There's another running around at Box Hill who hasn't made the grade in the seniors, also lacks pace, but has something special.

But we are slowish in too many positions already.

I'd rather see a player like Perez trialed at a mid if he's even a very outside chance. He has neat skills, and is 3 seconds over 20 meters type fast - not elite, but not one paced by any stretch.

He also has the benefit of having a defensive game.

Can't help but think we need some left field gamble to pay off to improve our leg speed and spread. Whether it's Amon on the ball, Hill in the forward line, or Perez as a mid etc.

We're two midfielders short of being able match it with the best even with Will Day in the side. We might have two for the future on our list already.

But unfortunately, we need two right now.
