Well, he just didnt do anything so its not as if he played in the ruck.

Next week Stafford should play the majority as we are playing the Kangas at the Telstra Dome

Stafford should've been 1 out in the square and Richo outside the 50 at half foward for the first half, it would've given us something to aim at. If we're not going to play him I much rather would've had more midfielders in the team to give the ones that are there a bit of a break.

Poor old chaffey the same thing happens to him again and again. No one tries harder than he does, problem is every coach with a vague clue generally runs the midfielder chaffey is tagging into the foward line (as the midfielder is no doubt bigger and stronger) as such he gets killed (it happened against Essendon in the Final in 01 when Banard kicked something like 4 in a quater on him). The harsh reality is Chaffey wouldn't get a game at a club going at a premiership. Tivendale was absolutely insipid in the second quater, consistently landing his passes 3 ft short of the leading foward and just generally doing what he's good at which is turning the ball over at half foward. However he lifted and all 9 touches in the last quater were quality and he actually delivered well into the foward line.

Hindsight may suggest that rotating Meyer off the bench would have been a more worthy inclusion than Stafford who played a total of about 10 minutes for the entire match.

As Infamy said, it was the way the game panned out. We didn't go in too top heavy, it's just that the game went a certain way which meant Stafford wasn't required. Having all the talls in has worked well in the past, might be time to start going a bit smaller though as the triangle is losing it's effectiveness as teams work it out.

Simmonds spent a long time on the pine in the 2nd half too

I think after half time our bench was Staff,Simmonds,Tivendale(thank god), and not sure about who else

But down at the end i was at which we where kicking too in the last our forward line was richo in the sqaure, hilton in the pocket/square, campbell flank, graham CHF and i think pets or krak on the flank.

The eagles had too much run out of their backline and i think staff and simmonds wernt used as much becuase of that
