I should say winners. We have a tie between RzrBlade and DaveW. You have both won the innagrual State Of Origin Most Valuable Player award. Congratulations. Which tends to suggest that WA were the best team in the competition but were robbed by having a penalty point deducted when no date was given for the deadline.

No matter who wins the SOO it will be a hollow victory because of this mistake.

Agreed it probably would've been better and more deserving to see QLD vs WA in the Grand Final BUT due to a lack of communication amongst WA captains they were docked a point. In a way both doughthelegend and QuiKsiLVA can blame themselves for not being in the Grand Final.

quite clearly we were the best team. But to be honest the bowlers (inlcudng myself) let a very winnable game slip, against SA

Untrue. But I'm no sheep. I have my say, particularly when justice is badly served, and support my State.

And if I had been a WA selector / team poster then WA would have been in the final and beat the crap out of the Maroans
