Parko last night mentioned last night in a discussion on the interchange that its down from 19 - 20km four years ago to 13 -14km / game now. The difference being that they are covering those kms much faster now.

Ahh right. The little girls game that billions, roughly 2/3 of the world prefers as their sport of choice, compared to the 1/4 of Australians, roughly 5 million. Opinions are a great thing, but its always greater when you have more people behind you

Anyway, onto the actual question. AFL players run more than football players, which is probably obvious. You definitely need to be more fit to be an AFL player. So if football players run on average 11-14k, like you mentioned, I'd imagine AFL players would be in the high teens

I've heard anything between 12 to 25 km's per game. I'd love someone to validate my hearsay.
Inferior in which way? By viewings? I'd say Big Brother has more viewers than Prison Break.. Which is the better show? Britney Spears would of sold more albums than Silverchair, who's the better musical artist(s)? Just because Soccer is more watched than Football does make it superior
