I upgraded to wifi a while ago and since then my browser I mostly use firefox but explorer is the same it wont keep me logged in. If I leave the PC for a few hours I have to log in to every site again and again and again .... I have tried everything your meant to but still ..... unless my PC has Alzheimers can someone help please.

Wifi, are using one of those USB modems? It could be your wifi connection is dropping out, causing your site logins to drop.

A "downgrade" to Cat 5 cable should solve your problem.

Did it do this before you went to wi-fi?
No

On an internet app if you're inactive for a certain amount of time (usually around 20 mins) your 'session' will be destroyed and you will be required to login to whatever you're when you return.

I have a "free" 3 modem I might try using that for a day and see if I stay logged in.

It shouldnt be anything to do with the type of modem you are using or how you are connecting. Staying logged into websites is a cookie/browser issue. Check that you don't have anything set like delete cookies when i log out or perhaps make sure the remember me box is ticked when you log in.
