Pendlebury would be above him also I suspect, and probably Treloar, but certainly top 5. What a surprise packet he has been.

Laird has missed a few, Sicily is more a third tall, Hurn probably has his measure to date and Tom Stewart is in the frame. It really comes down to how those guys finish the season. Given Crisps consistentcy I would back him in to finish as well as any of them.

It was painful to see Beams leave as he was a jet, but what we got in return has been staggering and unexpected.

Greenwood was a known quantity, solid perhaps a little under performed, bad injury run.

JDG is quickly becoming a phenomenon, early days I compared him to Beams in the way he went about it and his goal kicking nouse, very similar level of performance at the same age. He may end up being better than Beams.

However, the most amazing by far has been Crisp. More than a blue chip battler that we thought he was, he has provided more output in his 80 odd games than all three players mentioned above put together in the same time.
