None of those players will step up into the "elite" category, but I think Schammer and Longmuir will take the next step in terms of their careers and as members of the footy club. The smokey is Polak, if he is in the right frame of mind this season I think last years poor performance could be erased from everyone's minds.

I think Longmuir did really well last year, I'm not so certain he can take a step up but a level of consistency for a whole year similar to his bright spells would be enough.

Out of that list, I'd think Schammer is the most likely to take a big step up in performance.. whether it'll be next season, not too sure.

schammer is a gun. he will step up and probally challenge the reset of the midfield for the lead role.

I hope Polak works out at full forward. Who else can we try (w/out taking mcpharlin away from CHB). Spose murphy could do the job, but he is too young.

Noone has stepped up this year.
Please someone don't say Mundy, as i am talking about stepping into AA class.
The year we made the finals we had Bell Hase and Pav all in AA form.
This year Pav and umm...
Jlo has done well, continuing his form of late last year.
M Carr made a successfull return to form, before getting injured.
Who will step up and take us to the finals
Schammer
M Carr
Headland
Hadrill
Hasleby
(I think i am Fast)Peake

Fair points BB.

Our top line players other than Pav, have been playing way below the levels we expect.

The "second" tier players are the ones who are showing a bit, players like Cook and 211 are stepping up, even though some would question their skill levels. Mundy has jumped every hurdle so far.

Fair point Masai, although Bellie looks to be getting stuck in again.

M.J. & Crowls have exceeded my expectations in the few games they have had also.

Keeping a lid on that one Ripper, both are going along nicely.

A couple of people have tried to savage you over CC, but I think your (plus mine!!!) support of 211 is slowly starting to bear dividends.

Second half of the season could go anyway, I'm in for the long haul, bandwagoners can p off. I spent to many years supporting Swan Districts in the 70's to become negative.

All players must bend their backs and give 100%.
