Now I've often said that this fella has been the best recruit to Punt Rd since Barry rowlings..... what he's been able to achieve off field in the face of adverse on field performances speaks volumes for his ability.

when we compare the track record of that overrated boofhead at princes Park that heralded a new era at Carlton following the pledges of half a dozen pretentious pratts (pardon the pun) over a boozy card game to purchase a number of pubs only to look sideways when the price tag had a few too many zeroes...:o...whilst Swanny was looking like the mayor of hiroshima as he wiped the egg from his ample mug...Our bloke was swooning with goverment ministers in an election year seeking government funding to turn Punt rd into the centre piece for Indigineous sporting talent. With 2mn landed and another 5mn tabled, Stevie, I like your work....:thumbsu:

I bag Wallace
I bag Miller
I bag Royal
I bag Rawlings
I bag March
I bag almost all the players.

But I love this guy...the best asset at our club and a Tiger supporter to boot. Watch for him to try to be poached in years to come so I hope we can hang onto him.

Before RFC he successfully ran AGP, a real star.

The biggest asset at our club.

He will be the reason we turn it around, not Greg Miller or Terry Wallace.

This bloke goes about it without fuss and attention but gets results.

A massive Tiger Fan too. Not corrupt like the other moron mentioned from Carlton. A genuine nice guy.

Great deal, reading up on all the details it might sway me to vote those bloody liberal morons if they guarantee the extra $3 million for our club. I will sacrifice my happiness for the benefit of my club.

Go get 'em Stevey!

Agreed! Been a great pick up for us and has really turned the club around off the field...We were making pretty bad losses each year before he came and now we're starting to make profits and thats without onfield success! So imagine how much we'd be raking in if we were back to the finals!

steve wont be poached...tiger through and through...he hasnt finished his job yet....

as he said to me once.."there is much to do here and i wont be happy till its complete"...very determined bloke....considering his illness that he had to contend with.

again well done steve...you are a shining light amongst the crap we have to put up with...

Definetly can not see him leaving, he gave up an awsome job to help out the might tigers.
The success of of F1 GP in Melbourne shows what a gun administrator we have on pur hands.
Much rather him then the bloke at Carlton that rode off of the coat tails of Eddie and now Dick Pratt

Terry Tan I feel warm and fuzzy all over now knowing that there is something about Richmond you like

i beleive the f1 hasnt been as successful since he left;)

Steve's been a fantastic asset, but it will be the football department who turn it around for the club long term. Having good financial status doesn't guarantee success - ask Essendon.

Mr Bojangles......

Before you go and rant and try to bring down Carlton review the facts!!!

- On June 7, 2006 it was announced that MC Labour Park would receive a AUD$15.7m redevelopment to provide the Carlton Football Club with elite training and administration facilities. The proposed redevelopment will provide state of the art facilities exclusively for Carlton including:
  • Gymnasium, weights and stretch areas
  • 4 lane, 25 metre indoor heated pool
  • Medical offices and rehabilitation/treatment areas
  • Football Administration offices
  • Lecture theatre and meeting rooms
  • Change room facilities
More info;
http://oldwebsite.carltonfc.com.au/default.asp?pg=redevelopment

All of which was approved and agreed on before Mr Pratt and Swanny came on board....so i guess the previous administration did something right....so all the hard work that Mr Wright has done, is comparable to what Carlton already have in place.

In saying that i think its great the Richmond (and Carlton) are getting funding to update their grounds and facilities, AFL clubs bring so much funding into the Government its about time they paid some back, and i'm sure we can both agree, both clubs facilities need it!!!

You need to read the whole thing...i said it was GOOD that Richmond is doing the redevelopment....so i'm agreeing Wright has done well...

Don't jump the gun!!!

And if these were the facilities Richmond had before the plan...well i can't understand why you guys aren't up there then....be serious for one minute.

Its good for Victorian football and Victorian clubs to be getting good facilities to compete with interstate teams and those idiots Collingwood!!
