Big fan of Kingy, but his body is prone to letting him down. But after spending time in the VFL, he looks fit and good to go again. I'm sure there will be doubters waiting for him to break down again.

And as a premiership player, his value has gone up. Asking price would be too high and it's highly unlikely the recruiting team will go after him.

I'm glad you're not doing the deals for us!

A 3rd rounder will get King if Geelong needs to find cash to hold onto Blake. I'd say trading King might convince Blake that the Cats consider him a key player.

If any club gave up their top 10 draft pick for a 29 year old injury prone ruckman, that would be totally silly. In fact, it would almost be the worst trade in history.

Why not? We have had five retirements, you would of thought that would free up some cap space. Fraser was getting paid a healthy amount.

Collingwood have offered pick #14 for Brisbane's Cam Wood. If there was any young ruckman that I would consider putting our #9 pick on the table - it would be for Wood. He is a good size, is athletic and has shown something at an early age.

King is a better ruckman when fit and due to his very impressive grand final performance his stock may have risen quite a bit. Haven't heard whats happening with Wood, but with saints desperatly needing a ruckman you may pay over the odds for King because he is the only one left.
