how considerate of stockdale to announce him quitting the board on the morning of a match...lovely chap that really has the teams best interest at heart..HA!

so much for him bagging out joseph for wanting an election mid season!

never has melb football club had a bigger dikkhead involved with the club

crooked and twisted..and proven!

i hope no one supports him when he goes up against joe at the upcoming election
 
I am getting sick Fitzroy of reading your comments on this issue. Just forget about it.
Anyway I thought it was a very interesting article. i look forward to hearing the other side.

Why does everyone think that. All the merger stuff was in the past. Anyway, Joe has given all of his money hasn't he?

nup! he still has $300,000 to give us (and a bit more) which we get regardless of the election we will get cos he has promised it and it is part of the contract he signed when he pledged the money.

and no kangas01 isnt taken but it isnt as good as dees01 ;)

Also, he said if he is re-elected, he will ensure/guarantee that we stay merger free for at least the next 5 years.........can any of those other directors, promise us that ........no way, they even stated that to Joe during some Board Meetings...........Quote "Perhaps we should have merged Joe!! If I were Joe...

I would seriously reconsider donating the remainder of the money .. even if it was an agreement...I would really be spewy with that club...

After all the posts you have read and all the stuff in the papers, and you cannot see why he called a EGM..COME ON!! Can't you decipher matters??

You are so terribly biased against him, its so obvious....real reason pls...

The ONLY reason he did not call an EGM was he could not get enough people on his ticket and he is too embarrased to say it.

I still say we have the money, but at what price?
 
I am biased towards him because he helped our club to remain a stand alone club....

And will do so in the future......and all the good things his money has brought about.

Give me your reasons for not liking him..apart from calling an EGM mid season........and you know the reasons he did that...but you never acknowledge any positive stuff Joe has done for MFC.

Are you afraid to tell the real truth of your dislike for Joe....is it because he's different and Jewish??? and you are comfortable as part of the "establishment".???

He did have a full ticket..but we all know no one would have been able to get a creditable ticket together in such a short time...his decision to go later was not for that reason...it was because most supporters/ppublic pressure indicated he go year end.

You will also recall when he first came to the club, his ticket was not one you would remember either, but in time he attracted credible people, some of whom stabbed him in the back...and don't be surprised, if by year end, at whom he can present to the supporters....

Reasoning is something you are struggling with Dees01.

I have already gone through this. I do not like him because he disrupted the team mid season with all this EGM stuff. I also do not like his style of leadership. Very dictorial. Also, I do not believe putting money into the club can give you control of it. He acts like a two year old. Someone disagrees with him and he wants to get rid of them.

How dare you accuse me of being racist. I wouldn't care if he was black or a Buddist.

It depends what you mean by establishment. Yes I am an MCC Member, I went to a private school and I am not poor. If that makes me part of an establishment, so be it.

Why don't you take your blinkers off? All you care about is Joe. Don't care if he has done anything bad. You don't want to know.

Yes he had a very good ticket last time. But he could not get one this time because no one with credibility waned to go with him. They don't like him, something you have to accept Ms Storm.

Why can't you just accept that we disagree for once?
