G'day,

Given the massive downfalls up here this week, we've altered our training due to the state of our ground. On Tuesday we did fitness circuits, and since waking up on Wednesday, I've been sore and stiff through my stomach. We did alot of core strength work, and I figured I would loosen up over the days, but it still is rather painful to move from seated to standing and vice-versa, and as for laying down... Don't get me started!

Any ideas 1) What I've done? and 2) How to ensure it doesn't happen next time?

It is most likely just your abdominal muscles being sore from the work out. Not much you can do really other than get used to it.

Hurts like hell for the first day or two, just need to stay off it a bit and the pain eventually goes. As you get used to core work, you won't feel it as much.
