Howiye!
F1-mania here (or at least I would be if the username wasn't taken for some strange reason!). Couple of people on here may know me from the Stick Sports forums, but considering those have gone somewhat **** up, I've decided I need a new place to post and waste my time while I should be studying for exams.
Being entirely honest, I wouldn't be a big AFL fan at all. I have some ties to Melbourne Football Club as my cousin works there, but I wouldn't really consider myself a big fan. But who knows, joining an AFL forum might ignite a new passion for a sport that I have so far ignored.
However, I am a big fan of all things Football (with the round ball, the proper thing) and cricket, while I'm a big man for my hockey, it probably being the only thing dragging me to bed on those long forum nights when all hope is lost and all that seems worth doing is posting with the many Australians I seem to share my life experiences with.
Just quickly about myself for the many of you that haven't witnessed the Aura that is F1-mania, I'm a German living in Ireland. I'm 18, and I'm sitting my final exams in about 2 weeks time, so probably picked my time poorly to start posting on here. I'm fiercely proud of both my nationalities, and have been known to attack people for a simple implication that Ireland may even be the slightest bit worse than another country at something petty. While on here I'll probably steer clear of most AFL related things, but hopefully I'll have some sort of enjoyment discussing the other joys of life, which are also featured on this forum.
But yeah, I decided after I seem to have lost all my ability to write over the past 3 months since I've stopped posting on forums, another one would have to be found. It's over to you lot now to see if you can lure a foreigner into that crazy game of yours (who's players keep losing to our amateur gaelic players). And if any admin would be willing to sort me out with the F1-mania username so I can get rid of that blasted underscore, that'd be greatly appreciated.
