I have had a run of straight flushes of late.

Three days ago I landed a K high straight flush and then yesterday I landed two in the same 18 seater SnG turbo tournament on Poker Stars.

Does anyone know what the odds are of landing one let alone two in the same tournament? They were about 50 hands apart.

1 in 109000 lol, it is very rare, i hit 2 in 2 hours at the casino a few weeks back, one of the pots were worth $550

I saw a guy flop a royal the other day

ive had quite a few, but it depends on how many hands you play and how many you're seeing. I've only had one live and that was at the WAPL. I think i have had 6 or 7 and 2 royals, so seeing 2 only 50 hands apart is very rare!!!! nice work!

There is only one person to answer that question. Bluebear over at PNW. Post a thread there if you really want to know.

I've had two ever. Ironically (now what are the odds of this?!) both were exactly the same cards A-5 and both times they were clubs. The first time ever was at the casino and I played 45c. Had a straight by the turn, but still had the straight flush draw and hit that on the river. The other time was online and I had pocket 4. A235 clubs all on the board - the beauty is that the other guy had the king and wasn't even looking for a straight flush. Noob!

The other night I had 5 7 of spades and I thought long and hard about playing it but I folded. Would've flopped a straight flush. Remarkably, much later in the night I had 5 7 of spades and the flop came out 4s 6s x. Guy pushed all in, I called and didn't hit any of my 20+ outs on the turn or river!

A while back I got dealt Kc5c UTG+2 at Crown.

Flop: Ac-3c-x - nut flush draw
Turn: 2c - nut flush
River: 4c - straight flush

One slight problem. I folded pre-flop

What's better than a straight flush? A royal flush! :)

I've had a royal playing 2/3 at crown won about 40 bucks lol.
Had the steel wheel ace to five, straight flush. on 1/2 at crown got abotu 100 out of that.

Then Also had 9 to king straight flush twice online, in sit n go's

Best Ive done is a royal flush and 2 quads in about 6 hands (so one circle of the blinds)...online $1/$2.

Had about 3 royals, the site I played on for the first one used to give out a RF bonus, which was a nice extra.

Live, the closest I've come was with 27 clubs short stacked on the BB, can't remember the hand now, but the flop made me odds favourite for the hand even tho I was still behind, but I lost.

As you may have read, I scored my first royal flush live last weekend.

Had QJss on a Kh-Ts-6d-Ks-As board.

One guy had 66, other I assume had KQ/KJ.

Final pot was was about $460.

since u made royal on river im going to assume it was then

read the post in the Crown thread, it's all there. Mr 66 could have got me out with a decent sized raise on the flop or turn, but he flat called both times, and I called after him.

Pfffft. This straight flush thread is for losers. I started a royal flush thread on New Years Day when I hit one.

Guy flopped a straight flush at Crown. Seven see a flop of 6s5s2s, checks round, turn 9s, he bets in position, everyone folds LOL, he shows.
