Yep watched it, not bad hey. Wouldn't get away with half the tricks they do anywhere else...but still great to watch. Did a quick search on the net afterwards...turns out streetballer 'Skip To my Lou' is actually Rafer Alston, drafted by Milwaukee three seasons ago and signed by the Warriors this season as a backup point. Looking forward to seeing him throw some of those alleys to JRich this season!

Wouldn't miss it for the world. Amazing.

Rafer sure is Skip to my Lou and will be an exciting combination with Gilbert Arenas. Once Skip/rafer gets minutes, he will do alright. Just needs a improved jumpshot.

"Hot Sauce" I think his nickname is...just blows me away!! Wouldnt get away with any of that stuff in the NBA but it is still amazing to watch. I now watch it every week, I even tape so i can rewatch all the moves.

It's amazing the amount of talent that remains on the streets because they unfortunately cannot afford college or have poor grades in the early years.
Admittedly, the games are different, but many skills are still the same. Some of these guys deserve the same credit to league players.

It's great to see the kids appreiciation and how the players, tired as they may be, always take time to show them a few moves.

Yeah its great to see, the ballers have maybe 2 or 3 hours sleep and yet they still take time to show a few moves to there fans. It's good to see.

It seems like Rafer just needs to find a balance between using his skills and running a team when he plays for the Warriors.
Once he can find that balance he could be a capable back up.

On sundays streetball (its on sunday mornings aswell) it had a bit of a special Rafer. Showed him do a couple of street moves while in the NBA. First one was a nice bounce pass alley oop, the second he got called for carrying the ball.

the GSW have cut rafer...

i thought he had a decent chance to back up g.arenas...
but apparently he couldnt beat out rookie s.logan...

oh well..

Back up Arenas?

I'm under the impression that the plan is to start Bobby Sura, with Arenas coming off the bench.

Oh, and don't forget Phil Handy, he might be an able backup :p

Really disappointing for Rafer. I hope he gets picked up as he obviously has the desire to make it.

I really do not rate Sura. :p
