I hadn't heard of this release but I saw it advertised on steam a few days ago. Picked it up today and it's been great. Getting a lot of nostalgia feels.
Guys around my age would remember the game Strider from the arcade/megadrive. Well it's back and I'm glad to say it's a really well made game. It has a great difficulty level not being too hard but challenging enough, the basic gameplay of the originals is there with a mix of metroid, it's jam packed with extras/collectables, the boss fights are relatively hard and the controls are perfect.
The only downside has been the voiceovers on some of the bosses.
I've been looking for a great platformer lately and for $15 it's been awesome and probably the most fun I've had in a game in a while.
