Well that's the thing it was the senior coaches choice and it didn't work because he came back the same player. If it's a coaching tool that works then he comes back and performs. Its that simple.

The thing is if what he did was successful you probably won't even notice it.
I think the message was to all not just Jake.
The only way it will be noticeable is if Jake still doesn't two the team line. Then they will have to try something else or trade him out.

Either way he is a good coach and has his team playing for him and one another.

I know you're joking about this now but Jakie is on the slippery slope and the Footscray coaches know it. It's pretty obvious that he doesn't deal well with the weight of expectations. When people started talking about him as the next Ablett, he started to look like a rabbit caught in the headlights..... In 5 years time you might be looking to shop him around. I think your club is already floating a trade.....

Just think about this. You guys played in the West today and got a taste of playing at Subi...... Luke Beveridge didnt think Jake would gain from having a game in the West under his belt. I know I'm wondering why.... I bet you are too
