Not about where is he or why not choose him in the Australian side or whatever.

Im assuming this'll be his last season of first class cricket, he's 35 not the bowler he was and NSW has some obscene depth at the moment.

But get him involved in the set up of the Australian side. He's been a columnist in the SMH of late, and surprise surprise he talks some sense. His article this morning was very straight forward yet a sensible approach of what the Australians havent been doing well and where they can improve (ie bowl in partnerships, put the pressure on the batsmen etc). He's already shown he isnt a lacky over the year, ie his blow-up with the selectors over them ruining his and other fast bowlers Ashes preperation with the ridiculous ODI series against the Paki's last year (and somewhat mimmicked by the Sri Lanka series this season). He's a smart guy, Uni graduate and currently studying law (cousin was at uni with him as well). Maybe a coach or a selector, but he's the kind of person you want around the side if you want our test side to flourish

Agree, he has a face which looks kinda dumb (and somewhat fish-like), but he comes across as a smart, genuine, no-nonsense kinda guy. He has captained NSW very astutely too. Could even become the bowling coach (god knows he'd have to do better than Cooley).

yep to look at him u think hes not too bright.

But saw his article an its 100% correct but it also applies to batsmen.
You cannot chop an change so often.
You must give them a fair go to prove themselves no matter how poorly they go in their first couple of games.

With the new selections they made this week they need to tell the players, ok this is your opportunity you have until the end of the series to prove yourself.
Cant just throw them in for 1 game with so much pressure to perform or u get dropped.

Imagine if selectors from a decade or so ago were like the current ones, guys like Warne,Mcgrath etc etc etc would of been dropped before they had a chance to prove themselves.

I'd be getting Clark in there to help the bowlers ASAP but I think he has upset a few with some of the words he said when he was continually not selected.
