Suggestions for a good gamepad

Hey guys looking at purchasing PES2008 for my new PC but need some advice on a good gamepad ...

so far I have checked out the Saitek and Logitech range and am also checking out the XBOX 360 controller cause it can be used for PC.

Probably want a wired one because I don't want to be putting in new battries every week.

Depends on the control you like. I have a PS2, so for all my PC games that i use a control for i use my Logitech pad, as its like a PS2 controller.

My bro prefers XBOX, and so he uses his 360 control. Dont worry about the batteries depending on the controller some of them arent wireless and instead connect to the XBOX via USB, and some have USB chargers you plug into the controller and into the pc so battery life isnt an issue.

I have a simple logitech rumblepad 2 and have had no complaints. It's simple and probably the most widely recognised gamepad company so it's hard to go wrong.

Dont buy a PC controller. If you have a PS, then just buy a PC PS2 USB Converter. I use one, only cost me 15 bucks from Amazon, came in a week. Means I didnt have to waste like, 40 bucks on a whole new controller!

Yeah I was thinking about that as well ... seems like another good option
