What's your taste in music, Sealen - and what's boring you - so we have a bit of an idea.

I'm pretty much old music stuff, so i doubt i'd be much help - but others i'm sure would have a good idea.

Well froars, I'm open minded about music apart from techno which I've never gotten my head around.

I like anything from The Smiths, The Cure, Duran Duran, to Metallica, Pantera to the Used, My Chemical Romance, to Placebo, Muse to Led Zepplin, Judas Priest to Dr Dre, Redman and then even to the Cardigans, Sneaker Pimps.

(Just an example)

So yeah, I'm pretty open minded, so if anyone has something they like, I'd probably be willing to give it ago, aslong as its not techno or dance (unless its cheesy stuff like scatman john or vengaboys because it makes me laugh)
 
I better hand over to the more knowledgeable - hardly know any of those lol.
I downloaded some Black Eyed Peas last night - that's about as current as i have lol. REally like them, so that's my tip for today.

I'm into soul, R&B a bit, so don't know if you're into that. I've picked up heaps of music reading the stuff that's written on here - lots i like - lots i don't. A great web site i am a member of is http://www.allmusic.com and i'm sure there's other where they've got samples you can listen to etc. You have to join to get into the best parts of the web site - costs nothing to join but very comprehensive.
 
Thanks for everyones suggestions thus far, I'll check a number of them out.

Knowledge, I had Illmatic at one stage and thats an awesome album, I'll definitely be getting it again.
 
If you want some decent rock & roll that's relatively new, White Stripes, Queens of the stone age, Wolfmother, Mess hall, Nine inch nails have new albums out this year that are good.

Can't say i like, but wolfmother i'll check out :)

I managed to "aquire" Illmatic by Nas knowledge, It's not too bad. Will check out some of the above bands too.
