Shame for the Dons, umps cost them their chance. Very annoying when the umps influence the game this much. I think we had one missed stinker (de Goey's mark not paid) aside from that we were good, and the Bomber missed two goals at least that I saw.

There's some weird rule (rarely paid) if a player is slung after disposal its the free plus 50 because its like a professional foul preventing 1-2's. Given Grundy and Cox both did the same thing (really it happens a lot) and weren't penalised it was a very bad call.

It was good for footy that the in-the-backs and front-on contact to Brown and McKernan were paid, I am sick of that crap from any side, even mine. We got away with a couple early though, umps were horrible.
