What a bent club you guys are
Just let Gazza come home at whatever price so that he can be at his rightful home and he can be with his family so that they can support him
Stop treating your employee, Ablett like a second class citizen. He is the greatest player in your short history.

Idiot

Can't believe how many people are trying to say he should be back home with family and it's the clubs fault etc...

I feel sorry for the Ablett family. I do.

Unfortunately Natasha had been dealing with server mental health and schizophrenia for a long time. At one stage begged a judge to put her in jail
After an assault.

It's not the clubs fault. Gary's been back in Melbourne a few weeks and it's well
Known a trade is being worked out. So he was on his way home.

Exactly my point, Perhaps some Geelong supporters should take that into account when they smash our club as uncaring about the situation.
It's difficult when the media are fuelling the fire with some absolutely appalling reporting. This has been an issue for many years and it's surprising that Ablett signed a contract with us in the first place, let alone a second contract.
The club has not put a road block ahead of him to return home, we're only after a fair price.

Eddie instrumental in getting rid of COLA
He complained about the consessions GWS & GCS recieved
Blamed the lack of success on concessions NOT his appointment of Buckley
Collingwood have Adams, Treloar & Hoskin-Elliott from GWS
Now they are going after the Suns Captain.
The AFL needs to either reintroduce COLA or give Lynch a max contract with sweetners.

Just ripped into my Pies mate today about this.
I said how about developing your own talent instead of pillaging expansion Clubs.
Without the expansion Clubs raids Collingwood's recruitment has been pretty average. Mayne Wells etc.

As I’ve been saying in the lynch thread, they don’t draft young players well at all. They have probably 2 or 3 okay ones atm, but they haven’t really reached great heights even after years in the system.

I'm tipping Lynchy will sign early once he sees where the club is going under Dew.
Weller might not arrive this year, but just his intent has given me a real lift and no doubt the players
He can finally take real ownership of the team now that we've wire brushed that shit stain out of the boxers and sent him home to Geelong.

Maybe we could get him to send 50c to him in a letter to get him to stay - worked for Chris Grant. Didn't work on O'Meara when they had Jaeger's Juniors presenting to him as he is a heartless monster who loves cafes and shopping more than kids :'(

Another way to look at the O'Meara trade is that it virtually paid for the Weller trade. I know which one will still be around in 10 years!

Suns have 13 1st round picks in the current squad of 40. GWS has had 32 1st round picks, but now only have 13 left, plus a few Free Agents that were 1st rounders for their original clubs. The Suns have had 22 and retained 12 of those. GWS might have picked better talent, but they were given much more to choose from because the Suns were made to choose zone selections, of which probably only May was first round talent.

O'Meara? Oh you mean Cockface!

From my recollections it paid for Bowes and 25% of the WCE 2018 1st rd pick

How about
Another way of looking at it, sure. Dixon might be closer. The point is, instead of collecting picks, the Suns have traded a whole bunch of picks collected from trading players into recruiting new players this year and last, with Weller seeming overs yet actually market value. To be plain, you must look at 2015-2018 to get a clear picture. Imagine the Draft position of the GC if Lynch leaves? Would you want 8 new Draft picks inside 40 or a few gun free agents?
