Umpires always reward the team seen as showing the initiative. Trash play gets trash umpiring: Geelong have fully deserved the reaming so far.

HTB hasn't existed all year so there's no point even getting worked up about it. If you are second to the ball all game you lose.

We are cooked. Same story all year - get crushed in the midfield and lose the disposal count by huge numbers.

Although have been saved by good forward line and soild defence in previous games. But in these conditions midfield grunt is way more valuable - well done so far GC.
 
there is an ominous similarity to Richmond that Geelong minus Hawkins / Cameron, as per Richmond minus Riewoldt / Lynch look completely unrecognisable
