Im intersted to hear from team supporters who have watched their team in the pre-season who they believe will step up this year as regular players for there club and be good Dream Team contributors. Not interested in the guys everyone knows about all ready but players who didnt get much playing time last year who have had good pre-seasons and you would expect to play close to 22 games in 2008. This could provide a great source for Big Footy posters who will be involved in dream teams this year......And maybe a competitive advantage!!

Can you please state the team you support and then the players names (in order of preference) that you think will step up and why. Ill start with Carlton.

CARLTON

Hampson - Has rucked most of the preseason is 202cms, played last two games of 2007, was a high draft pick (pick 19 in 2006) and Carlton do not have another quality ruckman (Kreuzer still a bit young and under devevloped). As long as he stays fit should play every game as Carltons starting ruck.

Grigg - High pick in 2006 played half a doze games last year, was a ball magnet as a junior (avg approx 27 poss as all Aust) and with Walker injured should hold down a HBF all year. Has played all pre-season games.

Bower - High draft pick has played approx 20 games now and looks to have HBF locked down, does make some bad mistakes but tends to get a lot of the ball.

Edwards - Had a huge preseason, kicked six goals in last two game, has played every pre-season game up fwd and with Waite playing in backline should play up fwd, will need to keep playing well as Fisher will be back from injury shortly.
