Hey all,
Having a bit of trouble searching for threads, so hopefully this hasnt been done.
Just received my Carlton newsletter and saw this and thought you'd like to know about it!

SUPER SATURDAY AT VISY PARK
Saturday January 30th, 2010
The players will be training at Visy Park from 8.00am and supporters are invited to come to the ground to see the training session. The new Carlton Shop in the new redevelopment will be open for business between 8.00am and noon with exclusive specials on the day. This will be a temporary opening prior to the official opening in February. The Cheer Squad will operate a sausage sizzle via a gold coin donation and Membership will be available for purchase between 8:00am and noon.

Entry via Gate 5 or Gate 6 and parking will only be available in the streets around Visy Park.

Sounds like it should be a fun morning,
Hopefully I will be able to head down to my first session in 2010.

We do get asked from time to time for a BF meet-up, so i'll put out the feelers on what people's thoughts are about meeting up somewhere at Visy Park on Saturday. We tried it last year, and we had a small gathering before the Adelaide game at Etihad, and I thought that went ok.

If I get enough interest, we'll arrange a meeting point, and take if from there.

Highlights of Super Saturday, January 30th:
• Players training session from 8:00am

So for all those people wondering when it is a good time to get autographs, photos etc, you can do it Saturday after training!
Still unsure whether I'll get down there, but really hoping I can! Should be a great morning!

Really looking forward to this, my first attended training session this summer.

Just a quick question, I'm going to be buying myself a membership, but because I've taken a gap year, I no longer have a concession card, although I will when I head off to uni at the start of march.
Am I able to buy a concession membership on Saturday without a concession card? Just don't know on what level they check, is it up to the club to make sure you have a concession card when you purchase the membership or the ground staff on the way into matches, or both?

Well after all that, I wont be able to make it down tomorrow.

Everyone is saying Gibbsy is quiet at training..

Intraclub game is scheduled for a Friday and at 10 am.

Very nice morning to watch the boys train, in what was a pretty light session. Not a bad turnout either, with maybe a couple of hundred turning up. Carlton Shop looks good, although I thought it might have been a bit bigger, but it's fitted out well.
