The SuperCoach app is now available to download at $2.99. Looks like the content is the same as last year: Team, League, Rankings, Stats Centre.

I don't mind paying the $3 for the app, everything looks good and its well laid out, but I dislike how they've put advertisement in every section of the app.

Absolute joke.
I'm happy to pay the price, but don't serve me up ads on top.

Especially since the same company makes the DT version add free, at no cost!

Why haven't they released an iPad version, it seems like a no-brainer?. Instead of making it a universal app, like a normal developer would, they could even have a separate HD version for the iPad and gouge some more.

definitely a rip! bought the app last year, and though it was helpful.. will not be buying this years one. it's infuriating really when DT gets it so much better!

It's not the devs fault, will be the decision of Herald Sun and the AFL.

Last year I more or less just used App to show mates my team. Never actually used it for trades etc. And had it on standby as a possible luxury to make last minute Captain selection or EMG swap while out and about, but from memory don't think I ever even did that once.

Will stick to do everything on pc. For $2.99 it's worth to have 'just in case' IMO. Especially with the "Reversible trades mean you can hit 'reset' if you change your mind right up to lockout" mode. I wouldn't actually have App to operate / run team all year. Ads meh whatever...

I have issues with moving bench mids to bench fwd line. Just doesn't do it. As per last year. Pathetic and very time consuming.

No field view is awful and research should be much better. Not even height/ weights etc

If anyone out there has an iPad, (Ive got version 1) you can log in to the website but there is a major issue in that you cannot see the players that are available for trade after you hit the red 'T' button on the player you want to trade out. I have found a solution albeit a limited one...

Hit 'T' on the player you want to trade out

In the search area, above where the trade in players are displayed type in a letter ie M

Go back to the player you want to trade out and hit the red cross then the green select button

All players with an M in their first name or surname will appear, or you can type the players surname and they will appear, from there you can trade, substitute or make a player and emergency as normal.

Not perfect I know but I upgraded my Macbook's OS the other day and it won't connect to the Internet and I need my SC fix!!!!!!!!!!!

I just tested this on my iPad - I use the Atomic browser instead of the built-in Safari and it seems to work fine. For a few bucks I'd definitely recommend the upgrade as it doesn't only keep one tab in memory, forcing a reload every time you switch tabs, it has an Platinum Membership - https://www.bigfooty.com/forum/account/upgrades as well as a lot of other nice features. Definitely beats buying the SC app specifically.
