To pick a good Supercoach team, you need a balance of established stars (Hall, Fev, Judd, Bowden last year clocked up the points) and young up-and-comers who are picked up at a bargain price before a break-out season... Jason Gram last night year springs to mind.

So, I'm wondering if any BigFooty fans out there have an idea of who might fit the mould of a bargain pick, up-and-comer at their respective clubs.

And to show you I'm playing it fair, I'll get the ball rolling.

St Kilda -

David Armitage - 100k. #9 draft pick, has been outstanding in pre-season, IMO will play most if not all of the season and will rack up the possessions.

Kosi - 160k approx. If he stays un-injured, biggest bargain in the league.

Gardiner - 290k. Again, if he can avoid injury, will be our number one ruckman and play the entire year. Bargain.

Yeah he's not a bad price at 338k. About the overall average.

May miss the first two games tho.

Try Adam Thomson for Port. Hes an inside midfielder who gets a fair few clearances. Not flashy, will get more recognition in next few years.

Does Travis Boak find a spot in your best 22, week by week?

Nathan Foley could be a bit of a gem costs a little to get but last year averaged about 60 points despite not getting a lot of ground time.

Marc Murphy at 363k....?

:thumbsu:

yes it was

another is tim boyle if you dont have much money left to buy big name players, impressed a lot in some practise matches/NAB cup matches with a near Full Strength hawthorn forwardline and seems like a starter in the afl, at a modest $90,000

Only scored 45 in the one NAB Cup match he played - did he do well in the other preseason games? How will he get any time in the centre when up against Hayes, Ball etc?

no worries, send me a couple of thousand for that one when you win ;)

d man, Coughlan is out for the year! dont pick him up!

Nathan Foley is da man! he is a steal. Anyone injured from last year is worth a look in

Betts and B. Fisher - no one else seems to have them in, but they both look like having good years.

Sandilands, seems pretty cheap, was probably the best ruck in the league at the end of the season.

N. Brown, if you don't have this guy then you've already conceded.

Foley, see Brown.
