superfund details

Hey guys i apologies in advance if this is in the wrong area.

I have just recently got a job with a company. And they sent me a email saying they need my superfund details including spin number. This is my 2nd job so i do have a superannuation account with rest but my old employer set me up with these guys. So i was wondering what details do i need to give to my new employer and how do i include a spin number ?

They should only need your REST member number which can be found on any statement REST has sent you in the past. If you haven't been receiving statements give REST a call. The REST SPIN is RES0103AU.

thanks i gave rest a call for my member number and received it and got the spin thanks a bunch

Find out what fund your new employer use too and if they offer something decent for their employees. Most don't, but its worth looking at.

Rest is an industry fund anyway, and they're better than anything the "free market" can do in most cases.

Maybe check out some other industry funds though like Australian Super - they're even better.
