This has happened every game all season. As soon as she enters the room the other team scores. But tonight she will be at work :)

I hope there is no TV at work (or radio if that has the same effect).
 
My superstition is to have no media contact during a game - ie, no facebook, no sms, no bigfooty, no fanfooty

I sometime pray to the footy gods during the game. I'm not at all religious, but the footy gods I believe in.... When the footy is on. I guess its like when you are in a near death situation, and you turn to god, I feel like that when de boer is lining up for a set shot...

(I mean no disrespect, great footy gods - fifty hail pavliches)

Hi All,

I have this weird, not sure whether its habit or superstition. When Freo are playing I get right up close to the TV, like, sit on the floor right infront of the TV (as opposed to back on the couch).. Dunno why, maybe its more i try to concetrate on the play or something or get too involved or excited/anxious.. Has been working well the last 11 games..
 
My superstition is once the game starts i cannot move off the couch and have to stay as still as possible until the quarter is over. Also my dog has to sit up on the couch with me, Very annoying, especially when i need the toilet lol. But it usually works.
Oh and everytime i browse on our opponent for the weekend's big footy forum we always loose, so i stopped browsing our opponents forum, also seems to work, last time i forgot and had a sticky beak was against adelaide, and we lost that game
 
No one is allowed to talk whilst the game is on except yelling at anyone of the following:
Umpires
Players (freo or opponents is fine)
The dog for walking in front of the tv

The breaking of this rule ends in tears for those responsible
 
When we beat Geelong I was at home for all of the first half, then I went out to a pub with a chick for some drinks even though I didnt wanna move from the telly. Tonight I will be doing the exact same thing as I did that game. Except this time its a work dinner function with all of us scattered all over the place. As I was a late comer, my mate thought it be funny to place me in a table full of girls Ive never met before. So maybe the more girls the bigger our winning score :p

I havent thought about what Im going to do if tonight's superstition works.

Sorry people , it was my fault. All day I tossed up whether to start a thread saying "Adelaide will mega thrash Freo tonight" to try and balance out the bad karma from:

1: the other thread that shall not be named
2: Wallsie tipping us. :eek:
3: the PM tipping us to win by 34 points. :eek:

But I wussed out
