Discuss who you think has boosted or lost their chances of being drafted, proven critics wrong or pulled a performance of a lifetime out of the bag since draft camp?

For mine:

Schoenmakers - 30 metre repeat sprints. For a big guy, to show he can move like that will do his chances no harm and has now possibly thrown his name up for top 10 selection.

Hill - Obviously breaking any record is going to attract attention, but to smash the agility the way he did, now almost a top 20 certainty.

Shuey - Has often been critiscized for his speed. Well, certainly shut up any critics of that in his 20m sprint running a 2.92.

Lets be honest Schoenmakers Hill and Shuey were always going to be drafted no matter how the performed at DC

Jayden post his last final against dandy and his state screening have boosted his value from being a late pick to possibly a 2nd or 3rd round pick

True, but their results have probably secured themselves a higher place in the draft.

Schoenmakers repeat sprints would have pushed him up the list, but i think the main thing was him measuring in at over 193cm after earlier in the year being only listed as 189cm.

Same with Hill and Shuey, their DC results might have raised them up the order a few picks. Just like that if there was any doubt of Watts at pick 1, after DC there isn't

I believe Rockliff finished tailed off in the 3km time trial.

Therefore probably reducing him to a one position player in the draft.

Officially listed at 183cm.

Doesn't go on a sustained lead, not great pace.

Very good body on body, good hands, good kick, but at 183cm, I would've thought needed something extra in his resume. Play a bigger stronger AFL standard opponent on him and what has he left?

DC athletic tests make little to no impact on where they get drafted - very overrated by the media and general public.

Recruiters would've had almost all these guys athletic results already on hand and most importantly will be well aware of what these guys athleticism is like on-field and how they use it which are the 2 critical factors i.e. anyone who's watched Stephen Hill play could tell you he's an excellent all round athlete - DC was no surprise and Shuey has tested well over 20m previously, but doesn't use his pace to break lines.
