"Four Adelaide players – Mark Ricciuto, Jason Torney, Mark Stevens and Michael Doughty – are having surgery this week to repair niggling injuries.

And Simon Goodwin had surgery last week to fix a sinus problem.

Ricciuto and Torney are having ankles cleaned out, Stevens is having a knee flushed and Doughty is having a recurring dislocated finger repaired."

Looks damn good if they are the only injuries we have at the start of preseason training in 6 or so weeks time....some are minor too and shouldn't interrupt their training....basically maybe on the Roo (well done by the way), Torney and Stevens may miss a little of the start of training....but if we can have just a bout a full list getting through a full pre season it should set us up well for next year.......next we gotta find out who we trade and pick up in the draft.

Unless there are some complications with surgery then all of those should be ready to resume on day one of the pre-season training.

My biggest worry is Goody. Sinus operations are REALLY nasty:(

I had one a few years back Stiffy. He'll live!! ;)

They do bloody hurt though and that packing up your nose is very uncomfortable.

I nearly passed out when the specialist finally pulled out miles of thin linen out of my nose, followed by a gusher of blood.

As Neil Kerley would say "you don't run on your nose!!!" :)

They said Goody was having a nose operation in the paper this morning, and I was quite shocked, I thought he had a decent size/looking nose, certainly nothing to be worried about.
