I've been banging on about this for years. The AFL streaming service is appalling. There was a representative on the main board last year answering peoples concerns regarding the site. He can up with garbage answers such as "the pipe coming out of Australia is too small for video". Straight out lie, simple as that. People are paying a premium for the service of a replay, plus their own bandwidth and they leave ad breaks in and generally commentary between quarters.

I build websites in the U.K. for some of the biggest companies in the world, working via the worlds leading agencies, and this type of thing is really embarrassing. I have written to telstra, the AFL and even to the London media outlets in an attempt to shame the AFL, and nothing happens. They do not care.

The AFL looks to broaden its market, compete with rugby and soccer and then completely abandons its most important long term market and utterly disregards the fans.

The carlton website was displaying information from last year.

The complaints and feedback form go no where, literally so the AFL simply doesn't even know there is a problem.

Backwards.

Its a problematic because the AFL know we all love the game and are prepared to put up with so much crap to keep supporting it.

With this loyalty, they can do whatever they like and thus end up pandering to "issue of the week" that one of them has an itch about.
