He can't get injured! He has too much to do next year. Like help us win another premiership.

:D Cross our fingers he won't get injured. But he has alot to promise, if that injury he had in the 06 season doesn't come back. Onwards to 07! And hopefully, another flag! hehe... i'm getting excited now.

Me too. I miss going to games and seeing them on the TV. Next year i've decided i'm gonna go and watch all the reserves games in Sydney aswell. I need to support my Auskick!

NO. FACT IS THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS BEING 'DUE' FOR INJURIES.

Would you like an example?

2 men run out to play. 1 man breaks his leg. 1 year later the same 2 men run out again to play. The same man that broke his leg, breaks his arm.

Does this mean the other man who hasn't broken anything is now due to break something? No.

I've never broken any bones. Does that mean i am 'due' to break a bone. No.

There is no such thing as being 'due' for injuries.

It's the most stupid concept i've ever heard of.

Go an flip a coin one million times.

It'll end up very close to 50/50.

And a merry Krishna and a happer Easter to flipper ( the cute one), critta, fartlean, wavy and natlovestheswans.

That has nothing to do with it.. the probability of flipping a heads over tails is 50/50. Injuries however.. has nothing to do with probability.

You don't want to start this again Nat, I thought we had risen above it. For the record:

- injuries are randomly occurring events.
- probability predicts the CHANCE that a random event may occur.

I'm not getting into a slanging match over it though.

What.. a random event isn't flipping a coin.. you have to get an outcome.

Also, you can predict injuries? Are you going to say we have a 50% chance of getting injuries to 5 key players next year?

Makes no sense.

How thoughtful! :) where's my merry christmas?

Will Tim Schmidt get a game? I keep hearing that he dominates the reserves but can't break into the seniors

Yeah, hes played pretty well. However, due to our good run on injuries... he might end up like Spriggs and Willoughby. :( but he has played for us back in Round 17 and 18.

and he's 20.

^very true. It's already hard for Auskick and Shaw (it's even harder for him, since we have Spida) to get in. Thats probably the downside not getting any injuries. Loses soo many chances for those youngsters to shine.
