Mark Larson named caretaker coach in Sydney

The job that no-one wants has been filled, albeit temporarily. Mark Larson has accepted a cry for help from AFLTM CEO Nik "the Russian" Radev to lead the struggling club for the duration of the 2011 season, or until a permanent head caoch can be found.

Larson is a fan favourite in Sydney, rebulding a bottom 2 side into a finals contender in his first season at the club, but just last season accepted the challenging role of list manager and head coach of the expansion Launceston side.

Larson was not available for comment yesterday, but was believed to be seething that former club captain Dane Swan had been traded from the club during Pre-Season...
