Looks like another US initiated 'False Flag' attack to justify continued military intervention.

Russia warned of this a month ago and it's played out exactly as they expected. The Syrian government has absolutely nothing to gain by gassing their own people.

Trump just a puppet like the rest of them were.

When people realize that the US President is just a mannequin and isn’t the guy who actually makes the final decisions then they will truly understand “democracy.”

Who said it was Trump that did it? There is as much evidence that it was Trump, than it was Assad.. None.

Trump decides what colour tie he's wearing today that's about it.. why exactly would Assad sabotage himself and do something so stupid when clearly he was winning? Makes no sense at all.

This is about ensuring an ongoing US war effort in the middle east. Profits of war.

Maybe it was neither Trump nor Assad.

You're right, but Trump is the stooge who stands in front of the media and reads the bullshit narrative.

The only question that needs to be answered is, who benefits from an ongoing war in the Syria? Here's a hint, nobody in Syria.

Russia says there's no evidence of chemical attacks in Syria.
Russia says they didn't try to assassinate Russian double agents in London.
Russia says they didn't shoot down MH17 over Ukraine.
Russia says they didn't invade the Crimea.
Russia says they didn't invade the Ukraine.
Can you see a pattern emerging here with what Russia says?

Pretty clear you support the 'Assad colluded with Russia to gas his own people' numbskull theory. Explain how that makes any sense?

It's pretty damn simple. Assad is, and has been, leading a civil war against his own people. Why? So he can hold onto power in Syria.

But name one situation where a leader of a country has killed their own civilians.

You're pretty damn simple.

The Syrian Army and Russia are on the verge of defeating ISIS and jihadist rebels in Douma so what do they do? Launch a massive chemical attack on the civilians there bringing global condemnation and inviting massive US airstrikes across the whole country. You seriously believe that they would sabotage their own impending victory?

BTW the US have finally admitted there was no evidence the Syrian Army was behind last year's 'alleged' chemical attack on civilians, despite using this as a reason to launch tomahawks at Syrian airbases in response.

USSR - Joseph Stalin.
See, Russia has form in the liquidation of it's own people and Assad is their little muppet.
I'm sure he has been trained by the Russians in the "How to Murder Your own People and stay in Power" School of Politics.

There are plenty, but Assad had absolutely nothing to gain by doing it but a lot to lose.. it is a baseless claim that makes no sense at all..

How about we start a discussion on the amount of times the US have lied to justify their endless wars in the Middle East.. they don't even need to come up with a decent narrative, morons out there just swallow it without even thinking for themselves..

It's difficult to fathom your complete lack of intellectual integrity but I have to hand it to you, there it is in front of all of us to see. Well done.
For everyone else I would recommend reading up about the Arab Spring Protests in 2011 to understand the Assad regime and it's links to the Russia politics.
As for your claim about the US endless wars in the Middle East. I have a hunch, but I'm thinking you know nothing about the history of the Middle East prior to 1991. Well done again.
What other pearls of wisdom can you bring to this thread, huh?

Israel?

That's the FSA flag. It's not definitive proof, anyone can get together a bunch of kids, put up a flag and tell them to play dead. But the video is real. So what's more likely? An actor like Assad is framing the FSA, making bogus videos like the above to discredit them, and then using real chemical weapons ... seemingly against his own strategic interests.

Or -it's real, and factions that benefit from chemical attacks are actually staging them?

Or maybe it's just some kind of school play? Who knows. But it looks pretty real, and could be deceiving.

LOL the US has been meddling in the Middle East since the 50s to benefit either themselves or Israel. Iran is a good place to start.

Why would Assad gas his own people 3 days after Trump said he was planning to withdraw US troops from Syria? With all your intellectual integrity tell me how that makes sense...

You have no integrity.. your political opinion is restricted to US - good guys, Russia - bad guys. You're just another Cognitive dissonance case.

If Assad (a medical doctor and presumably not a complete idiot) wanted to kill heaps of people without all the negative attention, why didn't he just use high explosives? After all, Saudi Arabia has been beating the shit out of Yemen with conventional weapons for years and no one's batted an eyelid. The rebels in Syria have been known to use chemical weapons. Not saying this is definitely a false flag, but you have to wonder. MaddAdam?

Assad has certainly used chemical weapons before. But that was back when things were pretty grim for him, and the prospect of a Gaddafi or Najibullah like death for him was very, very real.

He's winning now, had already cleared two thirds of Eastern Ghouta.

The rebels - and this specific group in Jaish Al-Islam - have used chemicals vefore too (in fact far more than Assad).

Seems to me the rebels benefit a hell of a lot more here - and there's strong factions in the US military/state corp that certainly don't want to withdraw - than Assad would from using the CWs.

Also, I don't think Russia would have let him.

Maybe some battlefield commander, like Nimr from the Tiger Forces, decided to use the CWs rather than risk losing men against the dug in jihadi diehards.

Who really knows?

But bombing without proof is utterly moronic, but I suspect it will not go as the Yanks, Brits et al plan.

It's been confirmed that the chemical attack was delivered by Syrian aircraft operating from a Syrian airbase.
Hope the Allies bomb that airbase back to the stoneage.
