Ablett, Yes some teams tried to avoid tagging him and instead put a player on him that could hurt him going the other way but more often than not he copped a tag even if they did little damage and when he is tagged he always takes the #1 tag.
Selwood has been tagged a bit and usually to quite a good effect as he seems to struggle when he is tagged but he only cops the #1 tag when Ablett isn't playing.

I'd say it's about 80-20. Ablett being tagged 80% of the time - see qualifying final 2009 for potential carnage. Some teams have preferred to put the hard tag on Selwood, and try to work Ablett defensively.
