Back to the preoccupation with the speed gun again... Focus should be wickets first, and if you break the record so be it.

If you actually know Tait's history and heard his answers you would know that it is the medias fascination with speed and the record... not Tait's.

When Tait 1st came on the scene in Tests and ODI the constant media, public and team pressure on him to 'bowl fast' and push to the record were driving factor's behind his depression.

Since his comeback Tait is more level headed about the "Speed" factor... he just tries to bowl in the right place and if the speed is there it is there. If you read (and heard) his quote you will see his focus isn't on speed. He is just saying sometimes conditions are right for it (health/freshness, bowling rythm, pitch/weather condition etc)... and if things are right for it he will go for it.
