with all the posts filtering around there is a need to think about who we should pick in the up and coming draft.

here are some options:

Pick 8 i like the thought of getting Hanson, Gumby,Sellar or Thorp but it is very unlikely.
So the more reasonable players are Selwood, Proud or even Hilsop to add grunt to our midfield.
Or Riewoldt, Benjamin(sort of) or Reid to add to our kpp stocks

Pick 26 here we can go for Conners, Huoli(spelling wrong), Urquhart or Grigg for our Midfield
Or the kpp players are Brown brothers, MacKenzie, Allen or Everitt

Personally my prefered option is Pick 8 Selwood and Pick 26 Mackenzie

You've got to get over Varsamakis. Most decent pundits don't think he'll be drafted and you're wanting to use our second pick on him whilst players the calibre of the Brown brothers may well be available to sure up our KPP stocks.

i agree. selwood would be nice but might get snared early. one of selwood, proud, or hislop (whoever is avaliable) i would be rapt with. don't need a player like jetta & riewoldt is overrated, largely because of his name.

with our second pick we would be looking at a KPP. not entierly sure who the candidates at that stage of the draft will be.

That's just silly, he'll be a first round pick on ability.
