I'm no doctor, but could the jarring when he put his hand out, then cause the bone to crack due to the sudden force? I've broken a wrist before from landing similarly, except it were on concrete so not sure if you could say the same.

Hawkins must have a voodoo doll or something. Talia (who kept him to 1 goal after taking over from Rutten), McPharlin, Brian Lake, have all pulled out through injury before the last 3 Geelong games. (assuming Geelong win tonight).

Agree. Seeing him being taken off I thought a guy landed on it or something, but there really didn't seem to be much in it. Hope it heals well and he comes back as good/better than this year. good young player.
