Anyone see the footage of our captain getting stuck into Barnaby French during the Carlton game? Bruce McAvaney basically said that Cous should be ashamed of his behaviour.

Did anyone see what it was that got Cous so angry? It's unusual for him to act that way.

i didn't see talking footy so i don't know the exact incident. i do know that carlton were trying to physically intimidate our team, cousins especially, between the play. didn't work though.

personally i'm happy cousins is getting stuck into the opposition.

Just a lame beat-up by talking footy. Last night's episode was really boring so they tried to invent some stories like the cuz thing, the Judd trade [which even Frawley had to ask: did you make that one up Bruce?] some Caro yarns etc they obviously don't like it when we give one of their beloved Melbourne teams a hiding. They even made a big thing about how Pagan asked his players to 'bring their mouth guards to training' like it was some revolutionary idea that would turn the club around. The Melbourne media are very gentle on Carlton but whenever St Kilda, Hawthorn or Richmond lose the knives come out.

Yeah! I like the fact that Cousins had a go at French! Id be preety ****ed off if a side that was performing as bad as the blues were the other night were giving a little bit of lip! Id do the same thing!

I think its great to see that Cousins getting stuck into it and sticking up for his chargers.

I also noticed to see Judd has been involved in a few stoushes over this year and hasn't taken a backward step, which is a definate sign that this club is really meaning something for him.........

On Judd, I think he'd make an excellent leader in the future - I don't think he'd ever be a captain because he seems a bit quiet, but an excellent vice-captain. He's the guy the younger ones would look to as not needing to talk his performance up, rather just get on with the job and let his boot do the talking.

From what I saw, Cousins was making fun of French for flinching. I think Cuzz got p*ssed off and had a bit of a go at French, French stood his ground, Judd came in to push French away, French flinched, Cousins had a good laugh about it.

Bruce is an Adelaide boy, so I don't think he regards Carlton as one of his beloved Melbourne teams.

But on the issue of last nights episode, I watched it and it was quite boring, especially with Bruce probing Danny Frawley all the time (ie: would you trade richo) and Danny always giving the sensible anwser (ie: "how many strong marking forwards are in the comp Bruce? not many, so we wouldn't trade him"). Talk about boring predictabilty!

I saw the incident at the game and I saw a little bit about it on the replay when I got home. I thought it was funny and it's good to see our captain standing up to the opposition. He leads from the front no doubt about it.
