Talking Schwabby

I was impressed by Schwabby last night. Even though a lot of footy people think he's boring, he didn't hold back at all talking about Crawf's probs in 2000. Great to see he's so close to the players.

Just one more thing. Listening to Wayne Brittain's sound bytes yesterday, and he comes across as a complete moron. And looked the moron with Elliott sitting beside him. Who'd want to coach Carlton with that goose sticking his nose into everything? It was kinda odd with Sheeds there flying solo, and little Wayne sitting next to big Jack.

I agree with you on both accounts. I thought Schwabby was really good on Talking Footy last night and its good to see that a coach has so much feeling and compassion for his players. Hearing him talk about Johnny Barker and Jonny Hay and Jade Rawlings was really something. You dont often hear coaches talk about a player the way Schwabby did.
I also agree about Brittain. He must be a moron if he wants to coach at a club where the president does more bad than good regardless of the on field performances! Elliot really does give the Carlton team a bad aura if you like ( I couldnt think of the right word!)
